Belagavi: A technical snag led to large amount of water being released from Radhanagari Dam near Kolhapur.

It is said that thousands of cusecs of water overflowed automatically which affected the areas around Bhogawati river in Kolhapur District. Following this, Belagavi on high alert. If not alert, It may result in a major disaster. Hence the officials are taking measures to control the situation.

An investigation too has been ordered into the incident.
