Belagavi: In a novel gesture, newly elected Rajya Sabha MP of BJP Iranna Kadadi from Belagavi invited a poura karmika woman to inaugurate his new office in Belagavi city on Monday.

The district administration allotted him a new office in the old ZP office premises. Instead of inviting VVIPs, Kadadi invited a poura karmika woman to inaugurate the new office.

Prior to inauguration Kadadi performed gau-puja.

Union Railway minister (state) Suresh Angadi and other BJP leaders were present.
