Belagavi: Right wing Hindu outfit Sri Rama Sene (SRS) opposed the central government’s move of shutting down goshalas (cattle shelters) in all the army training centres across the country.

The protest was led by Pramod Mutalik at the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on behalf SRS.

They petitioned the prime minister and defence minister through the DC to withdraw the order.
