Belagavi: Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai has said the government will hold a winter session of the legislature at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi in December.

Speaking to the media persons here after holding the Covid and flood review on Saturday Bommai said the government is prepared to control the outbreak of the pandemic efficiently.

RT-PTR laboratory will be set up in Chikkodi soon by spending Rs. 1.36 crores, he added.

Speaking further CM said that he has instructed the district administration to conduct a survey to assess the flood damage in the district. “We will hold the meeting with the financial department officials and release the funds to provide compensation,” he added.
