Haveri: Twenty people have been arrested for allegedly assaulting RSS workers at Rattihalli in the District, police said on Wednesday October 12. RSS workers were inspecting the venue for a procession for an RSS training camp in the town which is to be held on Friday October 14.

On Tuesday October 11, three labourers were travelling in a car when an argument broke out with some youth standing in the middle of the road. The youth followed them and pelted stones at them.

Based on a complaint raised by the RSS, the police arrested 20 people. Security has been stepped up in the Town after the incident.
