Haveri: Yellow and red flags are being hoisted in Haveri, the land of cardamom, which is all set for the 86th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana. Mysuru Dasara-style illumination has been done across the City with major circles, roads and buildings adorned with electric lights of various colours.
Hosamani Siddappa Circle, Rani Chennamma Circle, Valmiki Circle, Subhash Circle, Ambedkar Circle, Gandhi Circle, Basaveshwara Circle, J. H. Patel Circle, M. M. Circle, J. P. Circle, Sangoora Kariyappa Circle and other circles have been illuminated. Also, the City has been decorated with yellow and red clothes.
Electric lights are on major road routes in the City including from KEB Circle to Hubballi Road Bypass, the Old P. B. Road, M. G. Road, Guttala Road Route, Thottada Yellapura Road, Hanagalla Bypass, Kaginele Bypass, District Commissioner’s Office Road Route, Old Post Office Route, and MPMC Route.
