Dharwad: The High Court Bench, Dharwad, has adjourned the hearing of a bail plea filed by the Yogesh Gowda murder accused, by two weeks.

Zilla Panchayat member Yogesh Gowda who had represented BJP was brutally murdered in his gym situated in Saptapur here on June 15.
After the investigation, the police had arrested six persons in connection with the murder of Yogesh Gowda and had filed the chargesheet to the court on September 9.
On October 25, accused Basavaraj Mutagi, Vikram Ballari, Keertikumar Kurvatti, Sandeep Saundatti, Vinayak Katagi and Mahabaleshwar Hongal had submitted a bail plea at the district court. However, the court had rejected the bail application. Challenging this decision, the accused had filed bail plea in the High Court.
On Monday, the advocate representing the petitioners sought more time from the court and hence, the single-bench headed by Justice S Sujata adjourned the hearing by two weeks.
