Dharwad: The Kanunu Mantapa of Karnataka Vidyavardhakha Sangha (KVS) in association with Sir Siddappa Kambli Law College would be holding a birth centenary celebration of senior advocate I G Hiregoudar comprising an endowment lecture and a felicitation programme to Justice Mohan Shantangoudar.

Speaking to reporters in Dharwad, Advocate Basavaprabhu Hoskeri informed that both are legal luminaries and have contributed immensely to the judiciary.

The time has come to recollect and introduce their achievements to the society, he said.

The programme would be held on March 15 at Alur Venkatrao Bhavan in Dharwad at 11 am. Supreme Court Judge Mohan Shantangoudar would be the chief guest for the endowment lecture, while High Court Judge B S Patil would be delivering a special talk, he informed.

On the same day at 5 pm at KVS, I G Hiregoudar birth centenary programme would be held. Justice Mohan Shantangoudar, Justice B S Patil and Nadoja Patil Puttappa would be taking part.

At 7 pm, Justice Mohan Shantangoudar would be felicitated in presence of KU Vice-Chancellor Pramod Gai, KSLU Vice-Chancellor C S Patil among other dignatories, he said.
