Dharwad: MLA Kusumavathi Shivalli said, “It is not an easy task to get more than Rs. 25 Lakh sanctioned for an alternate work in a single village. For all these questions development is the answer.”

She was speaking after performing the bhoomipooja for the construction of a concrete road at Hosakatti Village in Kundagol Taluk at a cost of Rs. 7 Lakh, including Rs. 5 Lakh for the development of Mariyammadevi Temple, Rs. 12 lakh for the development of the road leading to the temple and Rs. 3 Lakh for the ongoing work of Garadi House.

The villagers, who brought the MLAs with drum melas, felicitated the MLA Kusumavathi after performing the bhoomipooja.
