Dharawad: We are not satisfied with the Sadashiva Commission Report implemented by the Government, said the Leaders of Dohara Kakkayya Samaj and staged a protest in front of the Dharawad Deputy Commissioner’s Office alleging injustice to them.
The implementation of the Sadashiva Commission Report has done injustice to their society. With the implementation of the report, only 1 per cent of the 6 per cent reservation that was supposed to be available to their community will be available to them. We too were waiting for the report to be implemented. However, the Government has failed to implement the report, they rued.
On the basis of the census, only 1 per cent reservation has been given to our society. Our society are untouchables. We should have got reservation on that basis. Due to lapses in the implementation of this Report, our society will boycott the elections. Across the State, our society will boycott the elections without supporting any party, they informed
