Dharawad: Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti on Thursday May 12 said that he would resign from the post on Wednesday May 18.

Speaking to mediapersons, Horatti said that he would have tendered his resignation on Wednesday May 11. However, the notification for the Council election had not been announced, and hence I had to wait till coming Wednesday, he said.

Horatti also said that he would speak about him joining or not joining BJP after his resignation.
