Hubballi: In the last week, 150 police from the Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate have tested positive for Covid – 19.
The Commissionerate has 2,100 police officers, who had already been completely vaccinated against Covid – 19. Precautionary doses for the police officials have also commenced.
The majority of the 150 people who tested positive are asymptomatic, with only a few showing mild symptoms. All of them, however, are recovering at home in isolation.
As many as 100 police officers tested positive in the district during the second wave of the pandemic early last year. A majority of them had availed Covid Care Centres for treatment.
