Belagavi: Clinical trials of Covid 19 vaccine among the children in the age group of 12-18 years has started at the Jeevan Rekha hospital in Belagavi.

According to the hospital head Dr. Amit, a total of 20 children are participating in the clinical trials. This includes 10 boys and 10 girls.

These children received  ZyCov-D vaccine, developed by Zydus Cadila.

Earlier the hospital carried out the Covaxin trials also on behalf of the Bharat Biotech.
