Belagavi: Belagavi is gearing up for the Assembly elections. The election campaign in the District has been intensified with the entry of top leaders.

Former Minister Ramesh Jarakiholi filed his nomination papers on the first day of filing of nominations.

Ramesh Jarakiholi, the BJP candidate from Gokak Assembly constituency, filed his nomination papers on Thursday April 13. Ramesh Jarakiholi submitted his nomination papers to the returning officer after offering special pooja at the temple in the morning.
