Belagavi: Kannada actor Shivaranjan Bolannavar escaped unhurt when unknown assailants fired three rounds at him near his residence in Bailhongal and fled, police said on Wednesday July 13.

According to sources, two bike-riding assailants fired three rounds at the former actor from a distance, When the former actor was speaking to some friends close to the Hanuman Temple.

However, the shots were missed and  Shivaranjan managed to escape unharmed. The crime is suspected to have been motivated by a longstanding property dispute, informed police.
