Belagavi: Police on Sunday January 8 said have arrested three persons in connection with alleged firing at Sri Rama Sene’s Belagavi President Ravi Kokitkar.
Police Commissioner M. B. Boralingaiah said, police have arrested three persons named Abhijit Bhatkhande, Rahul Kodachwad and Jyotiba Mutagekar and they have confessed to the crime. Abhijit had fired a round using an unlicensed firearm. The firearm has been seized.
Kokitkar and a person driving his car had suffered injuries after they were shot by three persons at Hindalga Village on the night of Saturday January 7.
