Belagavi: A total of 12 bills were introduced in the winter session held at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha here, out of which nine bills were passed, said Assembly Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri.

Addressing a press conference in the City on Friday December 30, he said that the nine-day session lasted for about 41 hours and 20 minutes. The attendance of the MLAs in the session was not satisfactory. The total attendance was 75 per cent. This is not the right development, he said.

Kageri said nine MLAs, including Dinesh Gundu Rao, Harish Poonja, Krishnappa, Zameer Ahmed and Anitha Kumaraswamy, were absent from the House without obtaining permission.
