Belagavi: A decomposed and beheaded body of a man was found under a bridge of Malaprabha near Kusamali village of Khanapur taluk on Peeranwadi-Jamboti road.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been ascertained. The police sources say that it could be a murder. 

When the news spread, villagers in large numbers gathered to see the body. Khanapur Police visited the spot and forwarded the body to mortuary.

Villagers have expressed concern as they say that cases of murder disposing dead bodies have increased.
