Bagalkot: A mother died after hearing the news that her son was tested positive for COVID-19.

The incident has been reported from Jamakhandi town in Bagalkot district.

According to the local police, deceased woman is 65-year-old and was was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes.

Her son (Patient 381) was tested positive on Saturday evening for COVID-19.

The district administration has now asked health department authorities to conduct the final rites of the woman as per the COVID-19 guidelines, considerin the fact that her son was COVID-29 positive..
