Bagalkot: Several areas of Badami in the Bagalkot district were water-logged following heavy rainfall on Thursday, November 7.

The rainfall caused the Agasthya Thirtha pond to overflow leading to water-logging in the nearby Kallepetteoni residential area.

Heavy downpour experienced in several parts of the state has been attributed to Cyclone Kyarr.

In fact, Karnataka is still reeling from a flood crisis that began with the monsoon rains in August.
