Bagalakote: Four persons, recently, not only obstructed Forest Officials’ duty while they were investigating the wood drilling machine in a sawmill at a nearby Jagdala Village but also carried out the fatal attack.

Following this, a case was registered at Banahatti Police Station. A team led by PSI Rakesh Bagali of Banahatti Police Station under the guidance of Deputy Superintendent of Police Shantaveera and CPI I. M. Mathapati conducted a search for the accused.

The team comprising Ajjanagouda, Ananda Kolura,M D Savadi, Satish Balawada, Mahaninga Gooli and others have remanded the main accused, Samil’s owner Muthappa Ganjagol to judicial custody.
