Dubai: The eighth episode of NewsKarnataka.com’s Namaste Teacher will be held on October 23 at 6.30 pm IST.

Irene Celine Miranda, recipient of Best Teacher award in 1985, is the guest for the event. Other special guests for the event are Kumble Gopala Krishna Bhat, Graphic Designer, Mangaluru, Santhosh Hebbar P., former Divisional Head ISRO, Bengaluru, Dr. Hemanth Kumar, Consulutant Medical Oncologist, Father Muller Medical College, Mangaluru and Srinivasan Nandagopal, Co-Founder and Convenor, Centre for Integrated Learning.

The host for the event will be Spearhead Media Group Mentor and Advisor CA Valerian Dalmaida, and the co-host Rajesh Sequeira.

The series aims to highlight teachers and the impact they have had on students through teacher-student interaction. The programme will be broadcast live on YouTube at youtube.com/newskarnataka.
