YSR President Jagan applies for bail in CBI Court

Hyderabad:YSR Congress party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy applied for bail in the CBI Special Court in the Disproportionate Assets case on Wednesday.

While admitting the petition, the Third Additional Judge of the CBI court directed the agency to file its counter adjourned the next hearing to Thursday.

Jagan, who is lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison since his arrest on May 27 last year, has applied for bail following the directions of the Supreme Court that Jagan can apply for bail after September 8.

It may be mentioned that the CBI has filed three chargesheets in the case on Tuesday.
