Pune: In a shocking incident, a woman filed an FIR alleging that she was raped inside the Infosys campus here on Sunday.

The police have arrested two persons in connection with the incident.

The woman, according to media sources alleged that she was raped in a lavatory on December 27 by a housekeeping staff member in the Infosys phase 1 campus. The other person, meanwhile, recorded the act on his mobile phone.

The accused had threatened the victim not to inform others about the incident or else they would make the clips public.

It has been reported that the woman was working as a cashier at a canteen inside the Infosys Pune campus.

Reacting to the incident, Infosys said it will take necessary action as per the policy.

“We have stringent security measures and have a zero tolerance policy against sexual harassment extending to contractual staff too,” Infosys said in an official statement.

“We are investigating the matter and are working closely with the police to aid their investigation,” the company statement added.
