New Delhi: A 23 year old woman is said to have been raped at gunpoint by an assistant sub-inspector of Delhi police here on Thursday night. The accused Jayveer Singh (50) has been arrested and taken into 14-days judicial custody today.

The victim alleged that the accused was drunk and the police have also recovered CCTV footage and are verifying the authenticity of the video clip. The medical reports of victim confirmed sexual assault.

The video has been taken as essential evidence by the Delhi Police department, but in order to verify the video, the accused has for now been taken into custody of 14 days.

The accused ASI was posted at Punjabi Bagh police station in West Delhi.
