Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress and Trinamool Congress. He said that TMC party has completely surrendered before vote bank.

He alleged that the TMC party’s goons are threatening the tormented women of Sandeshkhali, where allegations of sexual abuse against TMC leaders have surfaced, to protect the culprits.

He predicted that the Congress party would secure fewer seats than Rahul Gandhi’s age in the general election. The PM refrained from directly mentioning Gandhi’s name and referred to him once again as ‘Shehzada’. Gandhi is currently 53 years old.

Addressing an election rally in Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas district, PM Modi alleged that Hindus have been relegated to second-class citizenship under the TMC rule in the state. He affirmed that “as long as Modi is there, no one can repeal the CAA law.”

PM Modi accused the TMC regime of fostering corruption and promoting bomb-making as a cottage industry in Bengal. He claimed that the ruling dispensation has surrendered to vote bank politics.

At another rally in Hooghly, PM Modi stated, “This time, the Congress would secure fewer seats than the age of its Shehzada (Rahul Gandhi).” The Congress leader is in his early fifties.

Last week, the Prime Minister had predicted that the Congress’s tally in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections would hit an “all-time low.”

PM Modi criticized the “appeasement politics” of the INDIA bloc, alleging that Congress and its allies are making disjointed statements out of desperation.

He condemned the opposition for boycotting the construction of the Ram Mandir and disrespecting the sacrifices made by ancestors for its realization. PM Modi urged TMC and Congress supporters to refrain from denigrating the cultural heritage of Bengal.
