West Bengal: A student was injured when a javelin pierced his skull on Monday, during an annual sports event at Nawda Nayanchandra Vidyapith under the Shyampur police station area in West Bengal.
The boy, who is the students of Class 6 was taken to state-run SSKM Hospital in Kolkata in a serious condition and was reportedly operated there. The javelin had perforated one side of the skill, said the sources.
The javelin was thrown by a Class 12 students during the sports meet, which hit the boy who was standing on one side of the ground, said sources.
