Karnal: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s convoy hit a pedestrian in Karnal on Monday night, who later succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred when the Chief Minister’s convoy was travelling from Chandigarh to Delhi.

The PCR car escorting Khattar reportedly lost control at a turn and hit a pedestrian, who was badly injured in the mishap.

Khattar was in the convoy at the time of accident. He reportedly stopped the convoy a few miles down from the accident, and issued instructions for those injured to be given proper treatment.

The driver of the car and convoy in-charge also sustained injuries.

Dr Manish said, “In the incident, two policemen were injured and one man lost his life.”
