A heart-stopping incident unfolded at Prayagraj railway station in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, where an elderly man narrowly escaped a potentially tragic accident while attempting to re-board a moving train.

Sajjan Singh, a resident of Jaipur, found himself in a perilous situation when he alighted from a train bound for Bikaner from Guwahati to purchase lunch on the platform. Upon realizing that his train was departing, Singh hurriedly attempted to re-board his coach.

In his haste, the 63-year-old slipped and nearly fell into the gap between the platform and the moving train. Fortunately, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel Sanjay Kumar Rawat, who was present on the platform, sprang into action.
