CCTV footage shows one of the thieves dismounting the horse and attempting to grab the donation box. Despite their efforts, the persistent barking of the dogs and the commotion woke up people in the vicinity. Fearing exposure, the thieves hastily got back on the horse and fled the scene.
The incident came to light on Sunday after a video of the attempted robbery went viral on social media. Realizing the risk, they abandon their plan and make a quick escape.
