Ghaziabad: A Muslim man who appeared in a viral video delivering an anti-Hindu rant has been arrested by Ghaziabad Police a day after the video surfaced. The man, identified as Ayyan Qureshi, had been previously detained for questioning, and an FIR was filed.

In the video, the accused can be seen making threats towards Hindus, stating that “Islam is alive and will always be in this world,” while also making derogatory remarks about Hindus, claiming they would be crushed like insects and worms. The video shows other individuals present, some of whom laugh at his comments.

He also questions the identity of Hindus and refers to the name change of Prayagraj from Allahabad, mentioning that it is under the control of the government and can be changed as they please.

The man identifies himself as a shop owner, mentioning that he runs a chicken or poultry shop, which is closed for about six months a year, partly due to holidays like Karwa Chauth.

Ghaziabad Police took action after the video went viral on social media, and the man is now in custody.
