New Delhi(DC): Rural development minister and Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde was declared dead by the doctors here on June 3. He was injured in an accident while on his way to the Delhi airport today morning, said sources.

He was admitted to the trauma centre in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Mr Munde is the rural development minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Cabinet.

He was in a serious condition, said sources.

Several BJP leaders, including Nitin Gadkari and Harsh Vardhan have rushed to the hospital.

Mr Munde was reportedly on his way to his constituency Beed in Maharashtra to address a number of public rallies.
