Srinagar: Border Security Force (BSF) troopers opened fire following suspicious movement along the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday morning in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Police said that the BSF troops posted in the upper bore area of the LoC in Keran sector noticed some suspicious movement after which they fired.

“Searches have been started in the area now,” police said.

The army said on Thursday that it had foiled two infiltration bids on the LoC
