Mumbai: Tilak Nagar – Pestom Sagar Karnataka Sangha Kreeda Mahotsava 2014 held unique sports events on February 2 at Tilak Nagar Ground at Chembur in Mumbai which was participated by more than 40 teams of Kannada and Tulu organizations all over Mumbai and Thane district.






Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police Sushil C Shetty inaugurated the event. Vice-President of Bunts Sangha ,Mumbai Karnire Vishwanath Shetty who presided over the closing ceremony said such sports events are helpful to bring Tulu-Kannadigas together. Karnataka Sangha has taken this initiative at the holy place of Tilak Nagar ground where the ganapathy utsav is being held.
Ratnakar Shetty Mundkur, Chairman of Mathrubhumi Credit Society, Adv. Ratnakar Shetty, president of Bombay Bunts Association, Corporator Deepa Neelkant Parab and other dignitaries spoke and extended their best wishes to the Sangha and all the participants. President of Bunts Sangha Mumbai CA Shankar B Shetty also present during the event.
President of Pestom Sagar Karnataka Sangha Satish R Shetty welcomed the guests, Award winning sports person and Sports committee Chairman Jaya A Shetty compared the programme, general secretary Nithyananda Shetty offered the vote of thanks.

Shetty, Ex AGM of Vijaya Bank,Shridhar K Shetty, Ex President of Chembur Karnataka Sangha, Prabhakar Bolar, Sudhakar Shetty, Yennehole , Mahi Bhosle , Suresh Shetty Yeyyady, Treasurer Dayanand Devadiga, Founder President Shekar Shetty, Jaya N Shetty and other officers bearers of the Sangha were present on the dais. The event was concluded with Prize distribution.
