Goa: The former Tehelka Editor-in-chief accused in the sexual assault on a young colleague had been arrested when he landed from a flight at Dabolim airport on Friday November 29, after his random attempts to snoop away, but has received bail until Saturday November 30.

The Goa police had clearly been acting on the conclusion of the 2.30pm deadline by the Goa court, as the police were waiting on the runway, and had blocked all the exits to ensure he does not get away.

Earlier the police had raided his residence at New Delhi after which Tejpal had granted a interim bail until 2.30pm, by session court despite to which Tejpal’s arrest was imminent.

Although even after being arrested, the court has granted him a bail once again, until tomorrow Saturday November 30, wherein he will be produced in the Goa session court.
