Mumbai :A teenage girl has been battling for life at a hospital here after she was forced to drink acid by her alleged lover in Gorai beach here on Saturday night.

The accused also allegedly pushed her into the sea. The 18 year old college Student was allegedly being stalked by a 20-year-old man named Jitendra over the past few months.

Both the victim and the accused belong to Dahisar area of Mumbai. The girl is battling for life in a hospital. The accused was arrested and a case of attempt to murder was registered against him.

The victims family had registered a police complaint earlier after he had started stalking the girl. The police had also reportedly warned him not to pursue the girl.
