New Delhi: In a shocking incident, two men allegedly raped, killed and burnt a teenage girl so that a post-mortem wouldn’t detect sexual assault here in east Delhi on last Thursday. Two suspects Danish and Ashu have been taken into custody by the police.
According to reports, the girl was found dead in her home on Thursday. Though the preliminary investigations suggested it was a suicide, an autopsy later however confirmed the murder.

A friend of the victim, who helped identify the accused, has claimed she was also sexually assaulted by the two suspects. Police have registered two separate cases against the men.

“During investigations, one of the victim’s friends revealed that two young men from the locality used to stalk her and the dead girl. When the other (dead) girl refused a friendship proposal from one of the stalkers, he allegedly threatened to kill her. She (the girl who spoke to the police) said she too had been harassed and beaten up by the duo,” an officer said.
