New Delhi, Jan 18: Union Minister Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar cremated Saturday evening. The cremation took place around 5:30 p.m. at Lodhi road Crematorium in south Delhi.

Earlier, on her post-mortem addressing the reporters, Dr Sudhir Gupta, the head of the Forensic Sciences Department, said tests related to toxicology and pathology samples have been taken.

However, it is a sudden, unnatural death case and there are some injury marks found on her body said doctors.

Owing to ongoing investigation, doctors will submit their report to SDM, from where further outcome will come.

A panel of three senior doctors has been set up to conduct the postmortem of Sunanda Pushkar. Postmortem was conducted at AIIMS.

Sunanda Pushkar was found dead on Friday under mysterious circumstances in her room at Delhi’s Hotel Leela.
