Kanpur: Congress workers attacked Subramanian Swamy’s car with eggs and tomatoes in Kanpur.

The senior BJP leader was in the city for a seminar on global terrorism at SD college when protesters rained ink, eggs, tomatoes and garbage. Congress district President Harprakash Agnihotri led the protesters who surrounded the car at Narwana Chowk and raised slogans and waved black flags.

Sources reported that some people from the crowd got injured when the police force used mild force.

According to reports the Congress workers were protesting against Swamy for his involvement in the National Herald case.
