New Delhi : The Delhi police have arrested Kerala pacer S. Sreesanth and two other players of the Rajasthan Royals Indian Premier League team in Mumbai on the charges of spot-fixing in the on-going tournament. Police sources said the players have been accused of spot-fixing in different matches this week.

Sreesanth and two other players namely Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, will be brought to Delhi to be produced in court. Chandila(29) has played for Haryana and Delhi Daredevils previously and Chavan (27 has played for Mumbai. Sreesanth has played 53 ODIs and 27 Tests.
The police have also arrested seven bookies. Police said investigtions have been on for some time into alleged spot-fixing in the cash-rich IPL tournament, the sixth edition of which is being played now.
This development is believed to be a great setback for the Rajasthan Royals IPL franchise which is owned by Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty.
