New Delhi: Amit Singh, who made a name for himself playing in the IPL, is also a Ranji player representing Gujarat. He was chosen by the legendary Shane Warne as one of the bright prospects in the IPL.
Amit was part of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) set up for four seasons, until he was released last year. He made a strong debut and also won the MoM against RCB. His stint with RR was not an uneventful one by any means.
In his first season with the RR, Amit was pulled up not once, but twice with a suspect bowling action.
The next three years hardly saw him play much for RR; it looks like Amit became a scout before the end of his playing career – a scout for finding vulnerable talent for the bookies to meet.
