New Delhi : On Wednesday Sreesanth spent his maiden sleepless night in a small cell in Tihar jail, ate “dal-chawal” with other prisoners, jail officials said.
Sreesanth, was arrested on May 16 from Mumbai. He was in the police custody since his arrest for spot fixing in the IPL. On May 28, he was sent to judicial custody by city court.

Sreesanth was arrested along with two other teammates Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila, on May 16 from Mumbai. All the three shared the cell with two other under trials, told the official.

An official also added “He looked fine when he came. He did not talk much. At night, he just sat or walked around the cell. He hardly slept, at dinner, he lined up like others for food. He took dal and chawal and in the morning, he had tea and some biscuits.
All three will be in the judicial custody till June 4.
