Bhopal: In a disturbing incident, two little children who accompanied their mother to visit their father in Bhopal Central Jail had their faced stamped with entry seal on Monday.

The gross human rights violation by the jail authorities that came to light late took place in a bid to distinguish the two kids from the children of women inmates. However, some are of the opinion that the officials may have stamped the faces of the kids to either bully them or to prevent them from entering the jail premises again.

Taking note of the incident, Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission has sought a report from Director General of Prisons.

Meanwhile, Jail Minister Kusum Mehdele has assured to take action against the officials responsible following a probe.
