Mumbai: Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested in a drug probe in the SSR Case. The Narcotics Control Bureau started its inquiries based on WhatsApp chats retrieved from Rhea Chakraborty’s phone, which revealed conversations around procuring drugs, allegedly for Sushant Singh Rajput.

The arrest follows three days of questioning and more importantly an FIR she filed with the Mumbai Police accusing SSR’s sisters of abetment of SSR’s Suicide yesterday.

According to an NDTV.com report, she is alleged to have admitted to organizing drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput and also consuming them at times, during her questioning. Her lawyer says it is a travesty of justice. The full statement is awaited.

Her brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested last week.

Rhea Chakraborty was first summoned on Sunday when she was mobbed by the media upon her arrival for questioning at the drugs agency’s office in Mumbai.

On Monday, Rhea Chakraborty made an emotional declaration, according to sources, telling the Narcotics Control Bureau – “Whatever I did, I did for Sushant”.

Rhea Chakraborty was questioned for several hours along with her brother on Monday.
