Mumbai: After the resignation row of the Congress-Janata Dal (S) state coalition MLAs and the fall of the coalition government by failing to prove its majority in the floor test, former JDS president and rebel MLA and ‘Halli Hakki Haadu’ fame A H Vishwanath has decided to write a new book on the recent development of Karnataka’s political crisis.
In a conversation with one of the regional news channel, he has said, “In my next book I’ll be presenting the recent political developments of the state, especially the resignation row and everything that has come out of it. I will reveal who was the ‘hero’ and ‘villain’ in the crisis. It’ll be a 30-day-political drama, which will penned down.”
Criticizing the coalition leaders, Vishwanath said, “It’s very sad to see that people who know nothing have spoken on the floor of the house. Instead of coming to common terms and consoling the rebel MLAs, the coalition leaders are indulged in harassing and threatening them, including me, which is sending out a negative message to the society. We’ll not fear such threats and we all know it is just a drama.”
Rubbishing the claims of former home minister M B Patil that two rebel MLAs are in touch with former chief minister Siddaramaiah, he said that former chief minister Siddaramaiah and M B Patil are trying to spread false news. “Both Patil and Siddaramaiah have lost their minds,” he said.
Meanwhile, he has clarified that all the 15 rebel MLAs were united and would not back off from their decision of withdrawing support from the state coalition as well as resignations.
