Rajasthan: A distressing incident has shaken Pratapgarh district in Rajasthan, where a woman was paraded naked. This disturbing incident came to light when a video of it went viral on social media.

This shameful event happened in Nichalkota village in the same district. Authorities have revealed that both the victim and the culprits are from a tribal community. Shockingly, the victim’s former father-in-law and his family members are believed to be the ones responsible.

As soon as the police heard about this, the Superintendent of Police (SP) and other officers rushed to the scene. The SP, Amit Kumar, announced that they’ve filed an official complaint, and they’ve formed six teams to track down the accused.

The state government has taken notice of this horrifying incident. They’ve instructed the Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra and ADG Crime Dinesh M.N. to visit Pratapgarh and ensure swift action. The DGP has urged the police to arrest the suspects immediately.

In response to this terrible event, Deputy Leader of the Opposition Satish Poonia said, “Seeing the video of the mistreatment of a tribal woman in Pratapgarh shakes one to the core. Criminals seem to have no fear, openly recording their crimes.”

Poonia called on the government to punish the culprits severely, so that the very thought of committing such crimes strikes fear into potential wrongdoers.
