Hyderabad: A popular daily soap actress of Telugu TV industry Naga Jhansi committed suicide at her residence in Sri Nagar Colony here on Tuesday, February 5 night.

According to the close associates of Jhansi, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan at 9 PM. Though she was rushed immediately to Gandhi Hospital of the city, she was declared brought dead.

The Secunderabad police have recovered a note from the spot. They suspect love failure to be the cause of her extreme step.

Jhansi was reportedly in a relationship with a person named Surya but her family was not happy. She was dating Surya from the past six months.

According to sources, after a heated argument with her family and boyfriend on the same issue, she might have taken this extreme step.

P police have confiscated a letter and a mobile phone of Jhansi for further investigation.
