New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wax statue will be unveiled at the famous wax museum – Madame Tussauds, London on Thursday.

The statue was dressed in his regular kurta in cream with jacket making a Namaste gesture.

Modi’s wax statue was installed at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok last week.

He was involved in the creation of his figure and gave Madame Tussauds’ artists a sitting in New Delhi earlier in 2016.

Since Modi couldn’t make it to London for its unveiling, the statue was bought to his residence.

He praised the hardwork of the artists and had said that the artsists are doing what Lord Brahma does and it’s exceptional.

The artists took four months and cost Hongkong $1.8 million to create each figure.

US President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, South African anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela are few of the other global leaders whose statues are at Madame Tussauds.

Wax statues of Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif’s wax statues are already installed at Madame Tussauds.
