New Delhi: As heavy firing continues in the Keran Sector, the Indian Army has asked the Pakistani Border Action Team (BAT) to take back the bodies of the five men who were shot while attempting to infiltrate Jammu and Kashmir earlier this week.
As per protocol, the Pakistanis have been asked to approach with white flags while taking the bodies back for the last rites.
India, for the first time ever, released an unprecedented advisory asking all pilgrims and tourists to leave immediately and Jammu and Kashmir was put on alert following the skirmish with Pakistan.
Although there have been no direct attacks on pilgrims so far, India is not taking any chances and has prudently raised the alert as soon as a sniper rifle and a landmine were recovered from along the pilgrimage route.
