New Delhi: On a single-lane road in Odisha, a speeding SUV collided head-on with two motorcycles and struck an autorickshaw from behind, killing seven people.
A tractor was also struck by the Mahindra Scorpio SUV from the side. The incident was captured on CCTV.
On the one-lane road, the Scorpio can be seen approaching at a high speed. There is not much room for it to maneuver around the two bikers who are riding in the middle of the road as it tries to pass the autorickshaw. That was followed by the collision.
Reports said the autorickshaw was carrying 15 people. Three people died on the spot; the other four died during treatment in hospital.
The police in village Bijapur, where the accident happened, have filed a case, report said.
